A virtual reality-themed camp for college-bound high school students on the autism spectrum. Campers will examine the ways that virtual reality works, and how it can be used to enhance our lives. The camp will take place at Penn State’s University Park camps during the National Autism Conference. This camp is sponsored by the PA Department of Education’s Bureau of Special Education, but engagement opportunities for Dell include providing demonstrations of Dell’s VR technology to campers and/or the loan of Dell’s VR technology for campers to use throughout the camp.

Hosts 15-20 weeklong summer science programs that engage over 500 students entering grades 2-12 in hands-on, investigatory curriculum focused on topics in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Since its founding in 1999, Science-U has been exciting young learners from across the U.S. about the STEM possibilities in their future and providing them with the knowledge and skills they need to explore those STEM pathways. Our goal is to keep providing financial aid and scholarships to campers who come from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds or from populations that are historically underrepresented in STEM fields.
