Faculty Positions
Part-Time Online Instructional Faculty
The Department of Statistics at The Pennsylvania State University invite applications for part-time online instructional faculty positions to teach in the Department’s online courses throughout the 2020/2021 academic year. The responsibilities include:
- providing program instructions in our online format and administering them through our learning management system (Canvas)
- incorporating innovative teaching methodologies
- engaging in classes
- designing course material and assessments
- providing personalized and substantive feedback
Previous experience in online instruction is preferred. Additional information about our classes can be found at https://online.stat.psu.edu/. Applications must be submitted electronically and include a cover letter and curriculum vitae. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until all positions are filled. These will be part-time fixed-term positions, applications will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as the need arise.
