Biography
Ilias Moysidis is a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Statistics at Penn State.
He received his diploma in mathematics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2014. Since 2016 he has been part of the statistics department in Penn State.
Moysidis is currently working with Dr.Bing Li on developing novel methodology for simultaneous estimation of graphs that come from different sub-populations. His research interests include graphical models, penalized methods, variable selection and non-smooth optimization.
