As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many Eberly College of Science students are facing unexpected costs due to sudden changes in their academic plans, which can cause significant stress and other hardships that may negatively impact their academic success. Since our mission as a college is to ensure our students’ success, we are partnering with Penn State to provide our students with an additional financial resource to help relieve these anxieties. Along with the University's Student Care & Advocacy Emergency Fund we will provide limited, emergency financial assistance to our currently enrolled students who, due to the pandemic, are unable to meet immediate, essential expenses related to or otherwise impacting their education. Starting April 1, 2020, all new contributions to the Eberly College of Science Future Fund will be directed to students facing sudden and urgent challenges as a result of the pandemic, including securing basic needs such as housing and food, finding access to resources for remote learning, and resolving other difficulties that could place them at a significant academic disadvantage. Please consider making a gift to help ensure that our students receive timely assistance when they need it most. Thank you!
