The Eberly College of Science requires that face masks be worn by all employees, contractors and visitors in all open, shared, and public areas of our buildings in accordance with the PA Department of Health Worker Safety Order.

The CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies), especially in areas of significant community-based transmission. CDC advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others.

Employees, contractors, and visitors must wear face masks. It is a mandatory requirement to wear masks while on The Eberly College of Science properties, except to the extent an employee is using break time to eat or drink or working alone in their office/cubicle, in accordance with the guidance from the PA Department of Health and the CDC.

No one can enter The Eberly College of Science premises without a face mask covering the nose and mouth.
